The grid is 7" in diameter and made of cast aluminum for outstanding durability, while the floating hinge mechanism lets the upper grid rise as the waffle expands during cooking. The front, top, and sides are made of stainless steel for long product life. For easy cleaning, the stainless steel drip tray is quickly removable, and the open-coil handles are designed for minimal heat transfer.
