As practical as it is beautiful, the elegantly contoured nine-drawer Old World Drawer Dresser features felt lining on the top drawers and aromatic cedar lining on the bottom drawers. A inlaid sunburst design on the dressers top, executed in cathedral cherry and exotic avodire veneers, is one of the handsome design signatures of the Old World Collection. The sunburst is set off with a fine herringbone inlaid border and the entire piece is richly embellished with carving in the classical tradition. The dresser is finished in a rich and warm pomegranate shade that has both depth and clarity to allow the natural beauty of the wood graining to shine through. Burnished edges, hand rubbed fronts and machine rubbed tops reinforce the Old World feeling of this collection.
